Yoga & Meditation
Now used to promote physical and mental well-being by focusing on physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana).
I teach yoga and cranio-sacral classes in small groups which helps me adapt each lesson to suit students individual needs, in a warm and friendly, light hearted atmosphere. Each class starts with pranayama (breathing techniques) and body awareness, then moves into asanas (physical postures) ranging from beginners to advanced tailored to each individual students ability and comfort. Every session ends with a relaxing meditation, we use props where necessary to facilitate those recovering from injuries or rehabilitating after an illness.
The practice of yoga has a range of benefits as it encourages overall health and wellbeing by improves focus and is a stress relief, helping with anxiety and depression, insomnia and trauma. As well as back pain by strengthening the surrounding muscles (abdominal region and back muscles) and assisting with menopause and diabetes.
Bronwyn has been instructing Yoga for the past 15 years.
